Bitcoin’s origins remain a mystery. Their real name is Satoshi Nakamoto, and that’s all we have to go on. Some of the more outlandish theories claim that Satoshi is a time-traveling alien or an elite government team.
He released a 9-page document in 2008 that explained how the Bitcoin system worked. The software itself was released a few months later, in 2009.
